Where the iPhone 3GS really shines
Posted by Cameron in News, Newspaper, Photography, Video on July 3rd, 2009
I am shooting a news job in the Queensland sugar town of Proserpine and have had the opportunity to give the iPhone 3GS its first real test in an ‘on the job’ situation. The court case I am covering involves a policeman who is alleged to have assaulted handcuffed victims and is charged with six counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. Today’s star witness gave an impromptu press conference on the steps of the small courthouse, a perfect test of the ability of the 3GS video. Shot the 3.48min video at about 11am and had it uploaded to YouTube by 11.15am.
Tough job in paradise!

On my way for a court commital job in Queensland’s Whitsundays. What a perfect day to be shooting a job. Maybe not so great for a court job – wish I was on a travel yarn! Check out the beautiful Airlie Beach shot with iPhone 3GS
