A wonderful Greek wedding on Sunday – it’s been many many years since I’ve photographed inside an orthodox church and I forgot just how great it was. Truly stunning and very intimate. Riss and Chuck (Marissa and Chris), my bride and groom, were the perfect wedding clients, very easy-going, great to photograph and best of all, a genuinely lovely couple.

What’s not to love about winter weddings in Townsville? Temperature hovers at about 23 degrees during the day, perfect blue skies and best of all – NO sweating!
Yesterday was the wedding of Townsville final year photography student Naomi Eardman and her fiance Jackson Mallory. A beautiful garden affair with the reception outdoors at a beachside surf lifesaving club. A great day!
Crappy weather turns perfect for a NQ wedding

After a week of crappy weather in Townsville I was pretty worried about the outlook for the wedding of former North Queensland Cowboy and Gold Coast Titan Brenton Bowen to Stevi Knagge. Luckily BB and Stevi were treated to one of the most amazing October days I can remember, capped off with a stunning sunset! Here’s a small selection of pics from their special day.

Today I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Townsville Bulletin photographer Megan Brayley and her partner Steven Taylor. It was an amazingly perfect day in Townsville and luckily Megan had set an early time for the church service which gave us a few hours of winter afternoon light to make some nice pics! The wedding of Megan Pailthorpe and Greg Woodward
Had a great afternoon yesterday shooting a wedding for a good friend, ABC TV journalist Megan Pailthorpe and her fiance Greg Woodward. You honestly couldn’t meet a lovelier couple and they were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Thanks to Ian Hitchcock for assisting me on the job, the extra hands and eyes were a real help!
